Rules & Regulations
Members should always bring their Library Membership cards while using the library.
Only registered members are allowed to use the library.
Library Card is non-transferable.
Readers should maintain strict silence inside the library.
A borrower should always check the physical condition of the book before leaving the circulation desk.
Students may retain book(s) for fifteen (15) working days at a time. If further required, they may re-issue the same book(s).
Students must return the books within specified date. Otherwise, they will have to pay the fine of Rs.5/- per day from the date of issuing the book.
Students should return the library book(s) before the commencement of their final semester examination. Admit cards to the students will be issued only on submission of Library Clearance Certificate from the Central Library.
Reference books, journals & magazines are not for home-lending at all.
The library can recall any issued book even before the due date, in emergency.
In case of the loss of library cards, duplicate cards will be issued on the payment of Rs. 30.00.
If any book is damaged / lost, the member is solely responsible to replace the book(s) with same or current edition.
They should keep their mobile in silent mode inside the library.
Members should not disturb others in the library premises.

T. D. B College Central Library has a collection of more than 80,000 books on various subjects offered by the college along with books on religions, biography, local history, different types of dictionaries, encyclopedia etc. and some very rare Manuscript Collection.
